- Click this link to download the flyer to promote the collection of food for the Pet Food Pantry.
The purpose of the flyer is to focus on the Pet Food Drive and to prompt a "call to action" from the potential donor by helping them understand the reason WHY the Pet Food Drive is so important. Showing a cartoon of both a cat and dog eating gives the visual of our intent to make sure happy pets in homes continue to be happy and thrive in their own home. At the bottom of the flyer, we have included our organization's information if anyone is interested in volunteering and/or has questions. The text box above our organization information contains the details that you will need to customize for YOUR family Pet Food Drive.
Double click your cursor in that location and complete the necessary information for your event (if your are targeting more than 1 venue, simply create another flyer and save it under another file name). If the "WHAT" information is incorrect, simply highlight the information and edit. If you do not need any of the lines listed, simply highlight and delete that line.
If you have access to color printing, the cat and dog graphics are in color and would stand out to draw attention to the flyer. The flyer will also print in black and white just fine. We appreciate your willingness to print off the flyers for your event. THANK YOU....you are amazing
It is recommended that you distribute your customized flyers to your targeted group(s) 7 to 10 days prior to your collection date. The week gives people time to gather their Pet Food Donation(s) and the week timeframe should allow most people to remember to bring the food to the location noted on the specified date.
- Click this link to download the Food Tracking Sheet for the day of collection. These sheets will help you determine the pounds of pet food your Pet Food Drive received. Complete the Food Tracking Sheet and deliver it with your food donation.
We will combine your Pet Food Drive results with those of others to report the total received during our volunteer's food drive efforts. Click this link if you'd like to download a sample Food Tracking Sheet that's been properly completed.
If you'd like to use an excel spreadsheet version of the Food Tracking Sheet, click this link.
To expedite the drop-off of your pet food donations, please make sure the Food Tracking Sheet is completed and you list the names of all volunteers participating in your Pet Food Drive on the back of the printed sheet. If you used the excel version of the tracking sheet, please email it along with the names of the volunteers participating in your Pet Food Drive to acbarron@PetAlliance.org.
